Street Planters

Street Planters: BASWA secured funding through grants and donations to purchase 18 cast concrete street planters. Planters were filled with ornamental grasses and mums just in time for autumn. It is our hope to secure more funding for additional planters throughout the neighborhood.

After about an hour, Tracy was allowed to exit the mum-mobile.

Team Effort: These 400 lb concrete planters were stored at Historic Houseparts on their lot until planting day. At that time, John Billone of Flower City Management kindly loaned his talents and forklift to place them in their final destinations. Tracy Saville and Philip Duquette of Premier Pastry, and Chris Jones of Historic Houseparts spent the day filling them with ornamental grasses and multi colored mums.
