Street Banners: As part of the ongoing beautification project undertaken by BASWA, we designed and purchased the Sunbrella banners that are hanging from the street lights throughout the neighborhood. We continue to add more banners as our budget allows.

BANNERS 2006: New larger banners have been ordered for installation on South Avenue. The new banners are in the classic colors shown at left: chocolate brown, burgundy, and forest green. The black will coordinate well with the new black enamel street benches that will be installed at bus stops in the neighborhood. The larger banners are printed on Sunbrella fabric to withstand the elements better than the vinyl banners have. We hope to have them installed in July 2006.

Original Banners:

Street Banners: BASWA teamed with SWPC and students from the Monroe Middle School to design colorful new boulevard banners to decorate the street lights throughout the neighborhood. The project stalled while funding was sought to paint or replace aging street lamp posts, but BASWA was able to get it back on track and finally get them hung.
